Hype Internet Marketing and Development was born in 2007 - the result of a reformatting of what was once Hype Design, born in 2000. When Hype took the step into the world of marketing and search engine optimization, it was decided that a name change was appropriate - something that better reflected all of our capabilities. After careful consideration, Hype Internet Marketing and Development emerged.

In the seven years of Hype IMD’s existence, our skills have grown from simple website and banner design to extensive database development, search engine optimization, e-commerce development, as well as identity branding. In a sense, Hype can take you from start to finish in building a name for yourself on the internet.

I formed Hype in 2000. At that time, web design was merely a hobby with which I occupied my hands while I listened to music on my PC. I started making lyrics websites and blogs (that is, before blogs were as popular as they are now) and before I knew it, I gained notoriety for my unique designs and coding knowledge (and that’s way back when greymatter was popular - yikes!)

After growing tired of running a semi-popular blog, I decided to step away from the scene and simply take the time to tune up my skills and step my game up. Gaining a better understanding of user interaction/experience, flash, search engine optimization (or search engine optimisation, depending upon where you’re located), and content management systems helped expose me to far more than I ever imagined. I consider myself quite fluent in each, and growing more knowledgeable every day.

Now, I reside in Miami, and with numerous clients located across the United States, I have become satisfied with my life as a web developer and internet marketing consultant. I get to help people every day in expanding their ideas into full-scale companies for low prices. I get to receive e-mails thanking me for my assistance, and sharing with me just how fruitful their new found exposure and investment has been for them. I also get to work in the comfort of my own home, and still do everything that I love. Does it really get better than that?

I work with incredible people, and have made many friends from my clientele. Needless to say, my family has expanded. Wouldn’t you like to be a part of the Hype family?
